Family Club Sail Days

Class Description

Join us for our bi-monthly Family Club Sail Days on the water. Club sail days are for club members who are ready to sail without instruction. Safety in numbers is great for beginners, so this is your day to sail with a group. We’ll have assistants to help you rig and launch your boat, and a safety boat to help you on the water. Please check in with the club Greeter when you arrive. Volunteers If you’re an experienced member, please help us run sail day. We need: GREETERS – Welcome and check in members. BEACH CAPTAIN – Coordinate the beach assistants and safety boat to provide a safe and fun day for everyone. BEACH ASSISTANTS – Help members rig and/or launch their boats as needed. SAFETY BOAT OPERATOR – Operates the safety boat, helping members as needed on the water. These are two 2-hour shifts, so you can work one shift and sail the other. Mahalo!
